A message from your Guide:
My name is Jim Estabrook, I been a life time resident of the State of Maine. I have spent the last twenty years and continue my "day job" as a Law Enforcement Officer serving as a Detective Sergeant managing Criminal Investigations for the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department. I have hunted and spent the majority of my life in the outdoors and alway's will put your safety first, landing you the trip or a trophy of a lifetime in the process. Broken Antler is fair chase, we are ethical and we abide by the letter of the law. We respect the land and the animals that call it home. A trip to the Broken Antler will be an experience you will cherish forever.
Estabrook's Broken Antler offers a variety of services including hunting for Moose (lottery, by permit only), Deer, Bear, Birds and small game. Having direct access to ATV trails, snowmobile trails, the Appalachian trail and just the most beautiful scenery in Maine you won't soon forget your stay. If what your looking for isn't here I can help you find it. Once your trip is scheduled we will be in constant contact with you to narrow down gear list's, specific meal preferences and other fine details of your trip.
Hunts:
All hunts are fully Guided and include meals, lodging, taxes and transportation to and from Cabin to hunt areas as well as recovery of your trophy (you can help if you'd like). Arrangments can be made for local processing of your trophy for both Taxidermy and Meat, these fee's are NOT included in the hunt price. All hunts are arranged with your arrival at the Cabin on Saturday after 12pm prior to your scheduled hunt week with departure on the following Saturday. Arrangements can be made for arriving early or transportation to and from the Portland Jet Port or the Bangor International Jet Port.
If you or your group are in Public Safety there is "Special pricing" for Junior hunters, Law Enforcement and other Public Safety employee's available. Call for details.

Incidental during open season on Moose, Deer and Bear. Specific baited Coyote Hunts can be arranged for a Guide fee of $150.00 a day/night depending on season and License type. (Night Hunt License for Coyote is available)
Guided ATV Tours
$35.00 Per Person includes meals, lodging and taxes
Miscellaneous pricing:
Observers/additional person(s) are $75.00 a day. There is a $500.00 non-refundable deposit required on booked Moose Hunts and other hunts a non-refundable $250.00 deposit. Small Game, birds and all other activities are covered by a Guide fee of $150.00 a day with no deposit.
TRANSPORTATION/DIRECTIONS:
The Broken Antler Cabin is located at #68 Lower Shirley Corner Road in Shirley Maine. Pick up can be arranged from the Portland Jet Port, Bangor International Air Port or from the Ocean if you arrive in Maine by Boat. I'll get you there. It's about a 2 1/2 hour ride from Portland.
Driving from the South: Take I-95 North to Newport then West on Routes #15/#6 through Dover Foxcroft into Guilford. North on Route #15 through Abbott, Monson and into Shirley. Once your hunt is booked direct shortcut's can be given to land you in the yard.
